INDICATOR A: ADMINISTRATION

1. Librarians of PSU Campus regularly conduct a meeting with the University President as well as with the Campus Executive Director to express library concerns.
2. The Head Librarian is one of the PLAI-IRLC that have strong communications links with different librarians in Region I.
3. Invited and participated in Curriculum Summit as one of the Consultants.

 

 

INDICATOR B: ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

1. PSU employees were given free face masks, face shields, and flu vaccines.
2. An allocation of half-cavan of rice were also given during the community lockdown
3. Staff was able to attend benchmarking activities.

 

 

4. There is a harmonious and supportive work environment in the library.
5. Incentives – Aside from salary and benefits given by DBM, the following are provided to all employees:
Christmas gift
Anniversary T-shirt
Anniversary bonus

INDICATOR C: COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT

1. The Campus Library manpower provided a bibliographic listing of newly acquired books.
2. Book browsing activities were done by the Campus Library.
3. The Library has a local repository of downloaded e-books which augment the needs of the reference.

 

PRESERVATION
The Library Manpower clean the books and other printed materials with the use of a vacuum cleaner.

INDICATOR D: SERVICES AND UTILIZATION

1. Distribution of library calling cards to students during the enrolment period.
2. Provide library virtual assistant to clientele.
3. Awarding of Library Users to encourage the use of the Vital source.
4. Book Browsing Activities
5. Participate in Forum to discuss library services and future plans.
6. Posting of featured student researchers as well as a book or other available reference in the library in the library website, Facebook page and account for wide dissemination.
7. Provides library consultancy services in other libraries.

INDICATOR E: PHYSICAL SET-UP AND FACILITIES

1. The Coordinator for Physical Facilities has installed an alcohol dispenser near the Library entrance.
2. The Bureau of Fire Protection annually visits the library.
3. A partner venue for the Pangasinan Archive and Online Index to its Literature
4. The Campus Library serves as a venue for different campus activities.

INDICATOR F: FINANCIAL SUPPORT

1. The University practices centralized procurement.
2. Allocation of fifty thousand (Php 50,000) per semester for purchase of immediate library needs.
3. The Library Director attends the annual planning conference of the University.

INDICATOR G: LINKAGES

1. The Pangasinan State University is a member of the Library Consortium in Region I.
2. The Campus Librarian is a member of the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians.
3. The Campus Library is a recipient of different publications.
