Support to Faculty in Attaining Higher Academic Rank

To fulfill “Objective 4. To support faculty members in attaining higher academic ranks,the preceding subsections on academic assistance to faculty members (B.1), research and extension activities and grants (B.2), and provisions of trainings and seminars (B.3) are participated by the Information Technology Department.

The academic ranks of faculty members are raised depending on their teaching, research, extension, and production performance. The University uses a variety of performance evaluation instruments as basis for faculty promotion.

Evaluation policies are developed at the campus level, and then verified by the University Committee before being completed by the Region’s Zonal Committee.

The following table shows the academic ranks of the current faculty based on the NBC 7th cycle.
