College Budget
In the College level, the following is the breakdown of the budget as per College Annual Operational Plan of 2021. From the Campus budget for training and seminars, 15.69% are allocated for the College of Computing. This is because relatively, the number of faculty members in the College are lesser than those from the other colleges. However, 40% of the Campus allocation for membership budget, this is primarily because faculty members of the College have several professional affiliations (Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Research, etc.). Moreover, 41.21% of the Campus budget allocation for research is given to the College. This is because the bulk of research activities and endeavors of the Campus are conducted by the College. In terms of extension budget, the College of Computing got the largest chunk of the allocation amounting to 87.27% of the Campus budget. In a similar manner as research, this is because the College of Computing has several extension programs requiring several extension activities.
