Provision of Opportunities for Holistic Development

Aside from career development, promoting one’s own self-development are also emphasized in many University activities. To fulfill Objective 5: “To provide opportunities for the faculty member’s overall development,” holistic development to the faculty is also provided.

Holistic support to faculty members is necessary to have socially- and morally- responsive professionals. The faculty members of the Information Technology Department are exposed to learning opportunities to improve their physical, mental, and social development, emotional upliftment, and spiritual endeavors

Some of the health and wellness activities include seminars on mental health and productivity, such as the seminar Promoting Healthy Lifestyle Amidst Pandemic which tackled both mental and physical health during the pandemic and the work-from-home setup.

Faculty members of the IT Department take part in the health & wellness webinar through Zoom Conferencing.
