Extension Profile
The Information Technology Department partakes in extension services congruent to the needs and concerns of nearby communities. Active participation and involvement of the faculty in the conduct of extension activities and implementation of programs is encouraged, as is shown by the participation of all faculty members in extension programs of the Department.
The 2019’s Project 3xtensible: MalasakIT with a Heart consisted of three extension projects that provide the needs of the community thru training-workshops/seminars, sharing of items that are necessary to the community, and providing help to other community works. The extension program was cascaded to the currently adopted school, Camantiles National High School, under the 2018 Adopt-a-School: Training Workshop Program.
Finally, the extension program Computer Literacy Training for Teachers, Students, and Parents Readiness in Virtual Learning Environment in the Digital Age aims to resolve the struggles of online learning felt by Tuliao National High School during the onset of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
